The Somerset Arts Therapies Centre CIC is a Community Interest Company based in Compton Dundon, near  Somerton, Glastonbury and Street.  It was founded in 2020 in response to the growing mental health need in the community and the increasing demand for Arts Therapies.

 

SATC has a growing network of professional and approved therapists who are registered with their appropriate regulatory bodies. These include HCPC, PTUK,  BACP, UKCP and NCH.

Our approved therapists work with clients either at the Centre in Compton Dundon, online or in various settings  throughout Somerset including schools.  They can work with people individually, with children and parents/carers together and with groups. SATC also offers workshops and trainings.

 

As well as the Arts Therapies (ART, MUSIC, DRAMA, DANCE /MOVEMENT & PLAY)

SATC can also provide COUNSELLING, PSYCHOTHERAPY, EQUINE ASSISTED THERAPY, COGNITIVE HYPNOTHERAPY, MINDFULNESS, EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (EFT), PARENTING SUPPORT

& COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY (CBT) and non-therapy activities such as CHILDREN'S HOLIDAY CRAFT CLUBS.
